The problem
Ageing practice software, and every vendor promising a smooth migration. The directors had no independent account of what the firm actually did in it each day.
What we built
A map of 35 features rated by complexity, a matter-numbering system of 134 codes, a data model, staff interviews across two half-days, and a business case with the numbers in it.
What happened
The firm changed ownership in 2026 and chose a different platform. The analysis still did its job: the decision was made with the costs counted.
